Hello, I am Cristina!!
I graduated as a primary school teacher from the University of Seville in 2017. However, I have previous experience since I did my student teaching in my last years of my degree. Moreover, I have a good level of English since I have worked in Ireland as au pair for six months. Currently, I am working as extracurricular English teacher in a public school where I am using a method based on sounds and phonemes.
As a teacher, I am an enabler, counsellor and a guider teacher. For that reason, I prefer to share the control with the students than being all over them. Also, I use indirect techniques to correct the students’ mistakes in order to make the students get aware of them. I don't give them the correct answer because I prefer them to realize of their own mistakes, so through questioning them, they will elicit the correct answer. Finally, I think that the best way to learn is through happiness and fun, for that reason I use dynamic and varied resources to get the student motivation, like for example: sounds, videos and games.
