My daughter is in Year 2 of the British curriculum and was struggling with basic maths, often feeling confused by numbers, counting and symbols such as minus and equals. I was initially unsure because Simon mainly teaches older students, including GCSE, but after the trial my daughter was eager to continue.
Simon’s patient, structured approach has made a remarkable difference. He starts with the foundations, explains each concept clearly and works at her pace, making sure she understands before moving on. After just two lessons, she can recognise and use maths symbols much more confidently, has begun to understand multiplication and is no longer as overwhelmed by numbers and counting.
