• Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?

  My interest in teaching GMAT, GRE, and SAT prep comes from personal experience. I've taken these exams or similar myself, and I know firsthand how overwhelming they can feel without the right guidance. Preparing for them taught me not just strategies and shortcuts, but also how mindset and clarity can make all the difference. Over time, I realized that many students struggle not because they lack potential-but because they haven't yet found the right approach. That realization made me want to step in and help.

• What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?

  One of the most rewarding things about teaching is that you can help someone completely change how they see a subject-and, as a result, open doors to life-changing opportunities. Whether it's helping a student get into their dream college or achieve a target score after months of struggle, knowing I played a small part in that journey keeps me going. I believe teaching is not just about transferring knowledge; it's about being a coach, a cheerleader, and a guide all rolled into one.

• How does your work help society?

  Exams like the GMAT, GRE, and SAT open doors to life-changing opportunities-whether it's a top university, a scholarship, or a dream job. By helping students prepare effectively, I'm helping them step into bigger futures. The ripple effect of education is powerful, and I feel grateful that I get to play even a small role in someone's journey to a better, more empowered life.

• If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?

  Sal Khan has always inspired me. His teaching style is kind, patient, and deeply effective. He made learning less scary for millions-and that's what I aim for in my own work. I want my students to feel that they're not alone in this; I'm right there with them, every step of the way, breaking things down until they click.

• Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.

  When I'm not teaching, you'll find me exploring new books, solving logic puzzles, or binge-watching shows. I also enjoy writing-especially journaling and working on my own research. And whenever I get the chance, I try new recipes in the kitchen-it's my way of unwinding and staying creative.

• Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?

  I once worked with a student who was retaking the GMAT after two failed attempts. She had begun to lose faith in herself, but I saw how bright and capable she was. We focused on rebuilding her confidence alongside revisiting concepts. A few months later, she scored above 700. The joy in her voice when she called me to share the news is something I'll never forget. It reminded me that good teaching isn't just about content-it's about belief.
