Hi, I’m Jill
I’m a native English speaker from the Republic of Ireland, now living in Spain. Before becoming a Business English trainer, I spent 24 years working in Procurement Management and Supply Chain roles with Irish and international companies. This means my Business English lessons come with real corporate experience — I understand meetings, negotiations, presentations, reporting, and the realities of working in global environments using a second language, because I’ve been there myself.
Languages have always been a big part of my life. I hold a BA in Applied Languages (Spanish and German) from Dublin City University, and these languages played an important role throughout my international career.
Today, I combine my business background and love of languages to help professionals build the confidence and communication skills they need to succeed in English.

My approach is very practical and client-focused. I ensure that my students do most of the talking — around 70 to 80 percent — because it is their time to practice and improve. I tailor each lesson to their specific job and real business situations, such as meetings, presentations, negotiations, or networking. I use role-plays regularly, focus on relevant business vocabulary, and provide clear, direct feedback on the language points that genuinely impact their communication.
My goal is simple: to help them feel more confident and communicate more effectively in the workplace.
