Acerca de Faye
Hi, I’m Faye, a native British English speaker from the UK, now living in Tenerife South.
I’m degree educated and have experience working as an Associate Lecturer at a UK college, teaching Health and Social Care to students aged 16–18. I also have 10 years of professional experience working as a frontline paramedic in the UK.
I really enjoy helping people learn and build confidence. My teaching style is friendly, patient and encouraging, and I want students to feel comfortable speaking English without worrying about making mistakes.
My healthcare background also means I can offer specialist English conversation practice for healthcare professionals and students who want to become more confident communicating in English in a clinical environment.
I believe learning a language should feel practical, supportive and enjoyable, and I tailor sessions to the individual rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.

My lessons are friendly, relaxed and tailored to you. I focus on helping you feel confident actually speaking English, using practical conversations and situations you may experience in everyday life.
We can work on speaking, listening, British English vocabulary, pronunciation and building confidence in conversation.
Lessons are suitable for children, teenagers and adults who already have some basic English and want to improve. I can tailor sessions around your interests, work or personal goals, so they feel useful and enjoyable rather than like a traditional classroom lesson.
I also offer specialist English sessions for healthcare professionals and students, using realistic healthcare conversations and scenarios from my professional background.
Lessons are available online or face-to-face in Tenerife South.
