My name is Andrea, I am from Colombia, I have been teaching Spanish as a second language for 4 years now before I was teaching kids in a school for a year, but I got a job in an academy for teaching Spanish to foreigners. I decided to start teaching by myself one year ago. I have a college degree in teaching Spanish and Philosophy. I really like teaching, and when I have a new student, we work together to see what method is better for them.

Our default lesson plans follow the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, which measures proficiency levels as A1/A2 (Basic User), B1/B2 (Independent User) C1/C2 (Proficient User). However, we are also able to design a custom lesson plan to fit a student's unique learning situation. For example, if you are planning to travel to Colombia in the future for study or work, we can focus the vocabulary and lessons on a specific college subject or professional industry. Similarly, many of our students work for embassies or other governmental organizations and need to focus mainly on passing a specific professional proficiency exam for Spanish.
Another option is to focus lessons on specific cultural or social interactions such as understanding traditions, learning local slang, speaking for business negotiations, or communicating properly in a romantic relationship.

Precisiones
We recommend one-hour classes with learning comprising 30 minutes of grammar review followed by 30 minutes of conversation practice. Again, that is entirely flexible based on your personal goals. Our standard rate is $22 to book a 1-hour on-demand class at your convenience using our online portal. We have flexible schedules and can work with you to hold classes anytime, including nights and weekends.
We also offer you the opportunity to save more by scheduling a series of classes in advance. A package of 10 classes for $180, or 20 classes for $320. All we ask is that our students please provide at least 24-hour notice when they can’t make a scheduled class in order for us to be able to make alternative arrangements.
